We are now looking to recruit 2 Assessment Markers to join our team in November 2024!
Assessment Markers facilitate the learning and training of ION students on the distance e-learning Nutritional Therapy Courses including our BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy*, Cert HE Diet and Health* and our Graduate Diploma in integrative Functional Nutrition* by marking assessments to required standards and within specified time frames. Assessment Markers will respond to queries from Module Coordinator / Head of Undergraduate Courses on aspects of marking and be prepared if requested to provide additional feedback for students to clarify feedback provided. Assessment markers will adhere to marking, moderation and plagiarism guidelines; and contribute to quality assurance through engagement with assessment moderation.

To be considered for this position, you must be CNHC registered, a member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine), and hold appropriate insurance.

You will come with:
- A qualification in applied nutrition, nutritional therapy, functional medicine, to least at level 6 or the equivalent experience
- Professional body membership/registration and insurance as appropriate to the nutrition profession
- A minimum of 3 years practicing as a nutritional therapist
- Excellent critical thinking, analysis, and the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in written work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- And be self-directed and able to contribute to the team
