Lingo: Business Development Executives

Join Lingo, a new UK consumer continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to help individuals better understand their metabolic health. We are looking for 3 new Business Development Executives to work part-time, with access to central London. Some sales experience and a keen interest in nutrition and metabolic health is desired.

Role:
The purpose of this role is to generate business to business (B2B) sales for Lingo in the UK market.
This role will collaborate with the Lingo Business Development Team (based in the UK) to develop and close prospective Lingo B2B customers. These professionals may be across healthcare, nutrition, wellness and/or medical professions.

Main Responsibilities:
• Understand the Lingo value proposition and marketing messaging to be able to explain the product function, benefits and relevance to potential customers
• Delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Opportunistic lead generation to build out pipeline
• Contacting and converting leads sourced and provided by the UK central business development team
• Engaging with prospective customers to build relationships, develop proposals, execute contracts and implement after sales care
• Conducting sales meetings and product demos, utilising all available communication channels (in person, video, phone)
• Negotiating and closing contracts with customers, in collaboration with business leadership and legal teams
• Tracking and documenting interactions across teams with customers to develop key performance indicators and track progress to plans
• Providing feedback to other team members to improve lead generation focus, selling tactics and tools and success rate
• Driving further account sales by working business leadership to monitor product consumption and provide additional order support

Experience: Must have 1-2 years + prior experience working in a BD/Sales role plus a keen interest in nutrition.

Location: Hybrid: Central London Office/Home/Field.

Flexibility: 3 days/wk. Full time would be considered if preferred.

Salary: Full Time £30k with target-based commission – OTE up to £40k. Pro-rated for 3 days.
